If you’re into nail art, you may have seen this sneaky little hack on your FYP, but you probably didn’t know that you could get it at your local Shoppers Drug Mart. A Montreal-based TikToker posted a clip of it just five days ago and it’s already racked up a whopping 9 million views. And for good reason — this simple tool turns the tricky skill of French manicures into an easy process you can do in seconds.

All you need is a silicone nail stamper, but if you can’t find one, you can get creative. The one in this TikTok is a $9 foundation sponge by Quo, which you can find on the Shoppers website. Apply your desired colour onto the sponge, stamp your nail into it and voila. Apparently, it’s really that easy.

TikTok is actually filled with videos of nail artists performing the same DIY trick, and the outcomes are unbelievable.

The video-sharing platform has benefitted some Canadian businesses in a major way. Indigo is seeing a huge boost in sales thanks to the #BookTok trend, which has made people fall in love with reading all over again and drive demand for the books that have gone viral, according to the Times Colonist.

A Montreal-based food truck is also cashing in on one of the hugely popular food trends on TikTok, giving away the fan-favourite pasta chips for free earlier this month, says MTL Blog.
