This former fine dining resto is downtown’s newest lunch spot

Dining has definitely changed quite a bit in the past year. From sit down to take out to patios and back to dine in, it’s hard to keep up with how quickly things change. So in order to get with the times, the W Seattle has transformed their former fine-dining restaurant TRACE into TRACE Market.

TRACE Market is open for breakfast and lunch and serves up artisanal, fast, local, and earth-friendly eats. You can expect dishes inspired by the PNW’s regional bounty and you can enjoy these dishes with dine-in, take-out, and grab-and-go options. So if you live or work downtown you might just want to check out the menu.

For a little menu preview, you can expect to see items like avocado toast, a bagel sandwich, salads, and more! The menu is small but that means it’s just easier to pick when you’re busy on the go. But if you want to spend a little bit more time at TRACE Market you can also stop in for hand-crafted cocktails, local liquor, and both local and international wines.

If you’re wondering, they do have a happy hour so you can make this your after work pit stop. On Fridays & Saturdays, you can score $5 beers and $6 house wines by the glass, as well as bites between $6-$9 and entrees under $16. So keep them in mind next time you’re downtown.
