Two years ago, if we were to publically claim that getting poked tastes just like barley and hops, we probably would have lost all credibility. Now, several months into a global pandemic hot on the heels of a provincial vaccination boom, we can say it with confidence. We hope you’ve got your papers in order because Calgary’s Cold Garden has announced that they’re giving free beer to anyone who comes in with proof that they’ve gotten at least one jab!
As announced on their Instagram, the brewery has just launched a new initiative, aptly named Cans For Community.

Although you think that saving someone’s life would be incentive enough, Cold Garden is encouraging Calgarians to get their shots by promising the first 2,000 people a can of their neighbourhood ale with an AHS document and ID. Pretty sick deal, hey?
Of course, because they will only be doing this for a limited amount of time, it might be worth keeping an eye on their Instagram before heading over there – otherwise enjoy yourselves!
