While it’s no seaside castle, it is nice to know that there is at least one BC waterfront home that costs about as much as a condo in Vancouver. This bungalow, located a short drive away from Campbell River, could be a fantastic option for those looking to get away from it all.
And, there’s no doubt that it’s a great slice of waterfront life to enjoy. The modest home, built in 2003, features 1500 square feet of living space. You’ll get 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a couple of fun touches here and there. So, let’s dive into this fixer-upper option. One thing’s for sure- it’s better than a million-dollar teardown in East Van.
Starting with the interior, there’s actually a pretty solid layout. The open floorplan combines the kitchen, dining room and living room in one light-filled space, with windows looking over the nearby marina and the nearby Quadra Island. And for a little unique touch, there’s even a dedicated spa bath with a soaker tub beside the kitchen. Talk about easy living.
