This 10-day prix fixe foodie event across Alberta kicks off today

Firstly, his province has plenty of amazing food options, but with so many to choose from it can be difficult to pick your next spot. Luckily, a returning food festival changes that.  Thanks to Alberta on the Plate, a 10-day, province-wide dine around festival, you’ll be able to try out the very best culinary experiences across the province. 

From August 12th to 21st, participating restaurants are offering multi-course, fixed-price menus that highlight local producers, growers, distillers, brewers, and more. Again for the fourth year, this is your 10-day chance to savour your way through the province! Especially since you’ll be tasting delectable seasonal delights during peak produce season. Plus, you’ll be tasting creations by some of the most talented chefs in Alberta. Sounds pretty ideal to us. 

And with over 100 participating restaurants this year, you can select the ideal experience for you, whatever your vibe. From cozy street-side cafes, to the finest dining experiences, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable experience. Plus, your next dining experience isn’t limited to city limits. Alberta on the Plate is taking place all across the province. 

From Calgary to Sylvan Lake to Edmonton to Jasper and beyond. showcasing 26 towns & cities. So make your reservations, grab your pals, gas up the tank and get ready to taste the best & brightest Alberta has to offer.
