Ashbridges Bay Park fireworks

The City of Toronto is putting on its annual Victoria Day fireworks show at Ashbridges Bay Park at 10 p.m. on Monday.

Grab a loved one, family or friends and head over for the free show.

Centreville Amusement Park

Head over to the Toronto Islands and check out Centreville Amusement Park, open for the season and open on Victoria Day.

Where: Jack Layton Ferry Terminal (ferry to Centreville) — 9 Queens Quay E.

Disney’s The Lion King

Disney’s The Lion King is ready for another week of shows! Tickets start at $49, with multiple shows to pick from.

When: May 20 to 23, 2025
Where: Princess of Wales Theatre – 300 King St. W.
Cost: $49+

OVO – Cirque du Soleil 

The big top is up, Toronto. Cirque du Soleil’s OVO show continues in the city this week.

The shows will run until late June.

When: Wednesdays to Sundays until June 28
Where: 2150 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
Cost: $83+ per ticket

Drag Bingo at The Well

Messy Margaret will be at The Well on Church for an evening of Drag Bingo. Admission is free, and the wings are $1.

“We’ll play some bingo and we’ll also do some fun drag performances for you as well,” share organizers. Don’t miss out!

Toronto Night Market

Toronto Night Market is putting on this shopping, food, and entertainment experience for nine weekends — the perfect way to spend an evening.

The night markets will run from Friday to Sunday. Each Friday will be open from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 5 to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 3 to 8 p.m.

Entry to any of the markets is totally free, too.

Anime North 2025

Do you have your tickets for Anime North yet? You don’t want to miss out on Toronto’s largest fan-run Japanese Animation convention. It’s held each year at the Toronto Congress Centre/Delta Airport Hotel, and it’ll be a blast.

When: May 23, 2025, starting at 5 p.m., to May 25, 2025, ending at 6 p.m.

BMO Free Wednesdays at Aga Khan Museum

The Aga Khan Museum has a “permanent collection of over 1,200 masterpieces and innovative performing arts and educational programming,” and on Wednesdays, you don’t need to worry about paying for admission.

The free admission promotion runs on Wednesdays during extended hours from 4 to 8 p.m.

The NEW Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter

Starting April 11, Lighthouse ArtSpace Toronto will launch The New Immersive Van Gogh: The Next Chapter. According to organizers, it will immerse you in Van Gogh’s world and beyond the original exhibition.

When: Wednesdays to Sundays
Where: Lighthouse ArtSpace Toronto — 1 Yonge St.
Cost: $18+

Sakura Bliss at Akira Back

An immersive cherry blossom installation has taken over Toronto’s renowned Akira Back. The stunning floral display was created and brought to life by boutique design studio The Rustic Vine.

Enjoy the ambience and their limited edition menu that celebrates the beauty of Japan’s most iconic season.
