Another weekend is nearly here, and this one will be pretty exciting for rock fans in the city. From concerts to Sunday markets, here are all the best things to do in and around Seattle this weekend.
The Fremont Market is truly a classic Seattle shopping experience and it happens year-round, rain or shine. It’s a great place to find antiques, vintage clothing, and maybe even some gifts if you like to start your holiday shopping early.

Cloudbreak Music Festival returns for its third year with 200 live music artists across 34 iconic venues in downtown Seattle. If you’re coming from out of town and staying at a participating hotel, all shows are free!

The Washington Park Arboretum offers a world-class collection of woody plants to be explored on your own All parts of the Washington Park Arboretum, with the exception of the Japanese Garden, are open to the public and are free of charge.

Traveling this season? Starting on November 7, holiday magic comes alive in the iconic Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building store, featuring a new, limited-time Winter Wonderland pop-up experience. In Seattle? In celebration of the Seattle Roastery’s 10th anniversary, Starbucks Reserve will have exclusive, tattoo-inspired merchandise collection by Pacific Northwest artist Kyler Martz. The collection includes a commemorative poster, t-shirt, collectible patches, coffee mugs, and tumblers, all created in Kyler’s signature timeless yet modern style.

It’s a whole new way to experience the Zoo! WildLanterns features stunning larger-than-life animal and nature lanterns like bugs, lions, pandas, parrots, and dragons. Wander through the display, get some snacks, and check out the live performance in the entrance building.

Halloween might be over, but that doesn’t mean you can keep the spooky times going! This cabaret musical features “death-defying dance, sultry songs, shimmying showgirls, and hauntingly beautiful new music.” Grab some tasty food and drinks while you’re there and make a night of it!

A giant hit on Broadway and winner of multiple awards, Wicked tells the story of the good and evil witches from The Wizard of Oz. Maybe it’s time to hear the other side of the story.

Come visit the Seattle Chinese Garden and see it transformed by celestial light. Follow the illuminated pathway and discover dazzling displays, astral song, and cosmic-inspired visions. It’s a mesmerizing dance of lighting, projection, and sound – it truly feels like “a visit from the stars!”
