Come visit the Seattle Chinese Garden and see it transformed by celestial light. Follow the illuminated pathway and discover dazzling displays, astral song, and cosmic-inspired visions. It’s a mesmerizing dance of lighting, projection, and sound – it truly feels like “a visit from the stars!”
The Astra Lumina experience travels across the country, and will only be in Seattle for a limited time. So if you want to see the stars before the retreat into the night sky, this all-ages night walk is the perfect place.
What to expect

The Astra Lumina Night Walk will take you along a one-mile-long path through the Seattle Chinese Gardens for a wondrous display unlike any other. Using the modern magic of projections, lighting, and music, watch as the garden transforms into an otherworldly celestial realm.
According to the website, most visitors spend anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour walking around. Since the experience takes place in the evening, we recommend wearing something cozy along with good shoes for light outdoor activity.
If you think you’ll get peckish, there will be snacks and beverages available for purchase on-site along with cute merch to commemorate the experience.
Get your tickets in advance and see the cosmos touch down in Seattle. Are you ready to walk among the stars?
