Is it just us or did June just fly by? We’re just days away from the first day of July and we can’t wait for what’s in store. It’s about to be a hot, hot, hot summer. We’re ready for all the things to do in Toronto this July from outdoor concerts, activities, festivals and more.

Toronto is gearing up for a big month and there’s so much to get excited about.

Toronto Ribfest

Toronto Ribfest is running Canada Day weekend including on the holiday.

Try out some of the best ribs from around the country while enjoying free festivities such as “extraordinary performers, mesmerizing magic shows, and a breathtaking fireworks display at sundown.”

Rhythms of Canada Festival

Get to the Aga Khan Museum for free admission to the Museum Collections Gallery, a Festival Market, family activities, and a Canada Day Ceremony.

Trillium Park Yoga

According to Ontario Place, Trillium Park will have free yoga classes from now until to September 29th on select Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. 

The one hour classes offer “a mix of hatha and vinyasa yoga.”

Janet Jackson

Beaches Jazz Festival 2024

The festival is made up of five events taking place between July 5th and 28th including Salsa in the Beach, StreetFest, OLG Weekend Series, TD Weekend Series, and Sounds of Leslieville and Riverside.

The 2024 Beaches Jazz Festival lineup includes performances from over 1,000 musicians from local and international scenes.

Taste of Lawrence

This three-day street festival along Lawrence will feature international food, music and culture.

According to Taste of The Middle East’s website, the mission for the festival is “To increase access for the Canadian Arab communities to opportunities where they can participate and feel a sense of belonging and to present, showcase and celebrate Arabic Music, Art and Culture in Canada.”

Salsa on St Clair

Who’s ready to dance, eat and party?!

Salsa on St Clair brings in over 350 Canadian and international performers and has a marketplace of fiery authentic eats and treats to indulge in.

Toronto Outdoor Picture Show is showcasing free movies at different parks in the city this summer!

Free flicks will play at Christie Pits on Sundays starting July 7th and Thursdays at Corktown Common beginning July 11th.

Fun Philippines

The third annual Fun Philippines Toronto Food and Music Festival will showcase everything Filipino. According to Philippine Legacy and Cultural Alliance, this year’s theme is “Experience Philippines: Pearl of the Orient Seas”.

Fun Philippines’ goal is to spread cultural education through fun programs and installations.

Attendees will be treated to traditional folk dances, musical shows, and stunning parades starting July 26th through to the 28th.

Casa Loma Symphony in the Garden

Monday evenings in the summer, Casa Loma plays host to the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra, under the artistic direction of Maestro Paolo Busato.

According to Casa Loma, guess can “enjoy stunning views of the city, majestic castle and the beautiful estate gardens while listening to the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra under the stars.”

There’s a new Latin street festival coming to Toronto’s St Lawrence Market.
