The June edition of this summer-long festival at Stackt Market is basically a giant Pride-themed outdoor party, complete with a local LGBTQ+ vendor market, music series, food station, an art showcase, and more. National Picnic Day at Avalon Lavender Farm

It’s finally summer, which means there are infinite places to stop and smell the flowers here in Ontario. Among them is a picturesque lavender farm near Toronto opening to the public this weekend.

Visitors will get to enjoy a picnic lunch in an outdoor oasis “surrounded by the beautiful smells of lavender, captivating wildlife, and complete serenity,” the description says. Ah, we’re feeling zen already.

Luminato Woodbine Weekend

Luminato Woodbine Weekend kicks off this Friday and it’ll be jam-packed with concerts, art showcases, food vendors, and more.

“Launch your summer with two days of fabulous free music, art, conversation and food when we transform Woodbine Park into a magical urban fairground,” the description says. “Enjoy delicious food and drink, fun parades and sweet surprises, to celebrate the communities and cultures of the region.”

Taste of Little Italy

Taco Fest by Taste Toronto

This epic food festival is definitely giving Toronto something to taco ’bout. The three-day fiesta will feature over 100 varieties of tacos from Toronto’s top restaurants and chefs, so you better come hungry! To spice things up even more, Taco Fest will have tequila and specialty cocktails to pair your tacos with, as well as mariachi bands and salsa dancing to entertain you in between bites.

The Mac n’ Cheese Festival

Elora Gorge Tubing

This awesome spot is only about a 1.5-hour drive outside of Toronto. When you make the trek, you’ll be met with the beautiful natural landscape that is The Elora Gorge.

Be brave and tube the fast rapids or just lounge in the relaxing area of the stream. Either way, you’ll get to enjoy the gorgeous sights of the surrounding river and the beautiful cliffs above.
