Kissa & Soluna Job Fair
Two popular Toronto restaurants are hosting a two-day job fair, looking to hire for several positions on their teams. Kissa and Soluna are expanding their roster.

Toronto Maple Leafs Outdoor Practice
The Toronto Maple Leafs are hosting their outdoor practice on February 8th, 2024 but there will be 3 days of free festivities in celebration at Nathan Phillips Square. Some of the other free events include a Leafs Alumni Hockey Game, autograph signings, and a variety of pop-ups.

Black money talk and exhibit: African Diaspora and Histories and World Currencies
Join a great community discussion organized by Blackhurst Cultural Centre. This centers around the Black communities’ relationship with wealth, money, and currency. Make sure to register online for the event.

Skates & Sounds at College Park
Downtown Yonge BIA is hosting a free weekly skate party at College Park throughout the month of February called Skates and Sounds. It looks like your Friday nights are about to get icy.
Every Friday night, Toronto’s Barbara Ann Scott Ice Trail at College Park will come alive with incredible DJs, fire pits, and fun entertainment for the whole family for four nights this February.

Sweet City Fest
Toronto’s stackt market is bringing back the city’s sweetest festival next month, full of eats, drinks, and fun-filled activities. The Sweet City Fest returns and here’s what to know about this exciting experience.
For 10 straight days, from February 9th to 19th, the stackt market will host the sweet festival with over 100 vendors.

The Bentway skating
According to the skating trail, its winter programming begins on December 16, and this year, skaters are invited back to cruise the 220m figure-eight skate trail under the Gardiner Expressway. New will be the soaring art installation above the trail, which they say is and “inspired by the glowing hues of the northern lights.”

KUUMBA
KUUMBA is Toronto’s largest and longest-running Black Futures Month festival, embracing the rich tapestry of culture, diversity, and creativity through a month-long celebration of Black cultural programming. The Drake turns 20
Celebrating 20 years, The Drake welcomes all to enjoy pop-up dinners with past and present chefs, curated menus, panels, and parties, the return of Barn Burner, and $200 throwback room prices at The Drake Hotel, this February.

Hangar Skate
DJ Skate Nights are back at Toronto’s Downsview Airport as part of the ‘Hangar Skate’ series. Expect some of the best tunes, delicious eats, and free skating, every Friday night.
Local community radio station VIBE 105 will be spinning the tunes all night long as you skate or learn to skate courtesy of Peak Performance.
