Swan Lake

Sit back and let the Pacific Northwest Ballet transport you to the wondrous world of Kent Stowell’s Swan Lake. Lunar New Year in South Seattle

This new annual event celebrating Lunar New Year and its local asian-led businesses in the heart of South Seattle. Head to the Phinney Center to enjoy lantern making, lion dancing, taiko drums and savor traditional dishes from local food vendors.

Lunar New Year at Southcenter Mall

Have you ever seen a 25 foot dragon in person? On February 10th, you can watch one come to life during a traditional lion dance performance at Southcentre mall. There will also be a Moon Gate, Wishing Tree and mesmerizing cherry blossom trees for visitors to enjoy.

Annual Brazilian Carnaval/Mardi Gras

Are you ready for Seattle’s Annual Brazilian Carnaval/Mardi Gras!? This year is the event’s 30th anniversary and Show Brazil!’s band will be bringing the evening to life with Brazilian Carnaval music and dance from different regions throughout Brazil.

Seattle Night Market

The Seattle Night Market is hosting their 4th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration to usher in the Year of the Dragon. Explore a brightly lit marketplace full of delectable vendors, savor celebratory music, and head to the Magnuson Hangar building at 6:00pm sharp to witness the “Drunken Lions dance”.

Chase Rice

Saturday is set to be a Bad Day to Be a Cold Beer because Chase Rice is bringing his twangy tunes to Seattle’s ShowBox SoDo and tickets are $30. Special guest, Palmer Anthony will be warming up the crowd at 7:00pm. Don’t forget your cowboy boots!

Volunteer Park Conservatory
