Welcome to May, Seattle! Spring is well underway and a new month is (almost) here. Candlelight: A Tribute to Adele

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to Seattle, and this week you can discover the music of Adele at Town Hall under the gentle glow of candlelight. There are two shows scheduled, one at 6:30 and one at 9 pm.

Mariners Value Games

An Evening with Margaret Cho

Comedian and five-time Grammy and Emmy nominee, Margaret Cho will be discussing her career highs and lows as well as share her thoughts around activism in the current political climate. This is part of the University of Washington’s Spring 2024 Public Lectures.

Free 1st Thursday Public Tour

The Washington Park Arboretum hosts free public tours on the first Thursday of each month. So kick off your May walking through seasonal themes, collections plants, and learn about the history of the organization.

Volunteer Park Conservatory

This awesome space is open year-round and is full of beautiful tropical plants. It’s a great place to stroll with a date and enjoy a little peace and quiet in one of Seattle’s best parks.

Besides its usual $6 entrance, there are free days at the Park and they are on the 1st Thursdays and 1st Saturdays of each month.

Justin Timberlake

He’s bringing sexy back! Justin Timberlake is embarking on a ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour’, and will have two concert dates in Seattle this week!

The Moth StorySLAM

The Moth StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a true, personal, 5-minute story on the night’s theme, according to organizers. You can sign up for a chance to tell a story or sit back and enjoy the show! The theme will be: snooping.

First Thursday Art Walk

Pioneer Square’s First Thursday Art Walk is the longest running established art walk in the nation, and it’s on this week. The full list of the events and openings for May 2nd are listed on their website.

National Nordic Museum
