House of Hearts is the newest production from Can Can, an original story set in an imagined world. The production is infused with the romance of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the quirkiness of Lewis Carroll, and the fantasies of L. Frank Baum.

Seattle-based artist Henry Jackson-Spieker presents a series of installations at Madart. The installations integrate themselves into the space’s architecture, exploring visitors’ physical and philosophical perceptions of space. It’s all about examining the way we understand and move through the world.

Want to see a unique movie? Linoleum fits the bill. “Comedian and bestselling author Jim Gaffigan (“Beyond the Pale”) stars as the host of a failing local access children’s science show who, when a satellite crashes near his suburban home, decides to build a rocket to outer space in this unusual drama.”

This group exhibition at the Henry revolves around mud! More specifically relationships between people and place through the works of 8 artists. Works range from figurative clay sculpture to audio recordings of the swamp.
