Well, Edmonton. We have reached the last full week of July. The summer is flying by, so be sure to get out this week and make the most of it! If you’re looking to head out, we have a list to help you plan a night out or two. Here are 10 things to do in and around Edmonton this week!
The Edmonton Riverhawks have some exciting game nights this week. Themed-game nights include Field of Dreams night on Monday, Sitcom Night on Tuesday, and a Salute to Olympians night on Wednesday. Of note, there is no game on Thursday, but Friday includes a bobblehead giveaway.

This summer, the Edmonton Arts Council is partnering with the City of Edmonton to present Green Shack Shows. In July and August, there will be free concerts and performances five days a week at Green Shacks across the city with one performance in the morning (morning shows at 11 am), and another in the afternoon (afternoon shows at 2:30 pm). Catch a few shows this week!

Ready for an adventure this week? Where Dark Things Dwell is Fort Edmonton Park’s newest interactive experience, and you can immerse yourself in Edmonton’s largest outdoor escape room this week!

Well, it is officially that time of year again! The Edmonton Corn Maze is opening this week! The popular maze features a new design each year, and we can’t wait to get lost in it… again.

Head over to the lakeside for the 27th Annual Qualico Patio Series featuring John Hewitt and Meredith Moon. This series is set in the heart of Broadmoor Lake Park, and “the patio is a perfect place to take in a concert.”

Taste of Edmonton has grown to be known as the largest food festival in Western Canada, and it is back this July for 11 days of food, drinks, and local artisans. And it is celebrating its 40th Anniversary!

It is time! The quintessential pick for your summer bucket list! Enjoy midway rides, games, live entertainment, concerts, food… the list goes on and on! K-Days is back, Edmonton! And if you missed opening weekend, there’s still time.

Another KDays show you won’t want to miss is Ja Rule, the artist with several hits that made the top 20 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has sold over 30 million records worldwide and was the best-selling rapper in 2001!

Time for the Grand Night Market! You can expect live performances, DJs, a licensed beverage garden, and fun for all ages! There will be 60-100 vendors including artisan vendors, food trucks, concession/street eats, vintage and more!

CBC Edmonton is hosting an Olympic Games Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony viewing party at their office located inside the Edmonton City Centre Mall. “Join us for special performances by A-One Taekwondo and Freestyle Movement, giveaways, team bracelet making, and exclusive swag,” states their event which starts at 11 am.
