Freewill Shakespeare Festival

The Freewill Shakespeare Festival is back this summer, and will take place in four communities across Edmonton. You will be able to check out “The Tempest” this season, and Tuesdays Evenings and Saturday Matinees are Pay-What-You-Will (PWYW)! This year’s communities include: Lessard from July 2 to 7, and Sherbrooke from July 9 to 14.

Grindstone Comedy Festival

The 5th annual Grindstone Comedy Festival is back in town and organizers say it is bigger than ever before! If you haven’t been, you can expect “independent stand-up, improv and sketch comedy” by national performers and rising local talent. This year, Debra DiGiovanni, Eric Andrews, Courtney Gilmour and Noah Brodeur are among the performers.
