TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival

Since 2006, the TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival has been bringing the world’s best jazz to Edmonton, and this year is no exception. The popular music event runs until July 2.

Laser Beyonce 

Can’t get to a Beyonce concert? Head to the Telus World of Science’s Ziedler Dome this Friday to see Laser Beyoncé, which “captures the fun and energy of a her concerts and brings it into the dome in beautiful laser light.”

Alberta Avenue Night Market

The Block Party

Start the long weekend off at this musical extravaganza! The 11th annual Block Party is back, with Day 1 on Friday paying tribute to the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, and Canada’s best tribute bands! On Day 2, expect a night of high-energy funk, soul, and R&B, as Vancouver’s own Five Alarm Fun takes the stage.

Union Hall Summer Block Party

RideOn Carnival

Taking place over the long weekend is the Ride-On Carnival and pop up market at Mill Woods Town Centre. The Carnival kicks off on June 30, and will be on until July 2nd. The pop-up market will start on July 1st with indoor and outdoor vendors, then on the 2nd you can expect just indoor vendors.

Canada Day Celebrations at the Ice District

Head down to ICE District Plaza for a massive Canada Day celebration on July 1st. There will be drop-in basketball, pickleball and street hockey for everyone to participate in. There will also be music, games, inflatables, photo booths, face painting, and performers for all ages.

Canada Day Fireworks
