On Monday, February 21st families will be able to learn from and explore some of Alberta’s very best and brightest spots – all of which will fill your head and heart with memories and knowledge – for FREE! From the Royal Alberta Museum to the Lougheed House, the province will be offering free admission on Family Day.

Returning for another year of light, fun, and colour – Calgary’s big Chinook Blast event is back! From art, music, recreation and lights, this long weekend check out one of the many, many events happening in and around the city.

While it won’t melt the snow – this weekend the 10th annual penguin walk will melt your heart! Depending on the weather, Calgarians interested in seeing the zoo’s adorable penguins up close and personal can do so at 10:30 every day this weekend as they’re let loose to take a leisurely walk outside of their enclosure.
