Happy (almost) Canada Day, Toronto! The holiday Monday is coming up quick and there is plenty to do in the city. From fireworks to a Blue Jays matchup, here are the best things to do in Toronto for Canada Day.

And before we get into the list, if you’re travelling anywhere in the GTA and beyond this long weekend, GO Transit’s $10 One-Day weekend pass has you covered. You can ride on any GO train or bus, to and from wherever you’re going, for just $10 each weekend day and statutory holiday. The Weekend Passes are only available online on the GO e-ticket platform.*

Thomson Memorial Park is hosting a day of family-friendly activities for Canada Day.

Get to the Aga Khan Museum for free admission to the Museum Collections Gallery, a Festival Market, family activities, and a Canada Day Ceremony.
When: July 1st from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Cost: Free admission to the Museum Collections Gallery during the festival
On Canada Day the ROM invites all to enjoy the Museum with free general admission, no ticket required. The lines get long so if you’re interested we recommend you get there early.

Where: The Royal Ontario Museum, 100 Queens Park
Cost: Free admission
The Blue Jays are in the city for Canada Day taking on the Houston Astros.
Tickets are still available so grab some and enjoy an afternoon ballgame!

Where: Rogers Centre, 1 Blue Jays Way
Cost: $61+ per ticket
Downsview Park is holding their annual Canada’s Day festival with live entertainment, games for kids, inflatables, vendors and more.
Admission is free and the park is easy to get to from the Downsview Park Go Station stop.
When: July 1st from 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Where: Downsview Park, 70 Canuck Ave
Cost: Free
Toronto Ribfest is running Canada Day weekend including on the holiday.
Try out some of the best ribs from around the country while enjoying free festivities such as “extraordinary performers, mesmerizing magic shows, and a breathtaking fireworks display at sundown.”

Harbourfront Centre is putting on a celebration on July 1st with lots of delicious food vendors:
