It’s always fun to take a look at stats from the previous year. And now you can finally see the winners of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People. So whether you or someone you know is looking for a job, this is some pretty interesting info to check out.
The companies included are known for attracting and retaining younger workers as well as mentorship and training programs. Not to mention, some included companies even go so far as to provide benefits like tuition assistance. Now we know some of you are probably curious about who was included. So here are some big names that you might recognize. Drum roll for Bell Canada, L’Oréal Canada Inc., and PepsiCo Canada. Not to mention local workplaces like BC Hydro, the City of Surrey and UBC also made the list.
Along with some of the big names, there are some hospitality groups that have landed on the list. Cactus Restaurants and JOEY Restaurants both landed on the list, showing that despite a wild 2020, the hospitality industry is still a great place for young people to begin their work.
