These 8-week-old puppies with hilarious names are up for adoption in Ontario (PHOTOS)

Stop everything you’re doing for this very important message. A group of 8-week-old puppy siblings is about to go up for adoption in Ontario and you could apply to take one home. These fur babies have also been given the most adorable names — as if we needed any more convincing to keep them forever!

There are four black puppies and two brown ones with dark snouts, and each is named after a Simpsons character. There’s Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and Mr. Burns. So precious!

According to the Niagara SPCA & Humane Society, the pups were born actually in the shelter. Their mama is a Lab and Shepherd mix who was rescued from Manitoba.

If you can no longer imagine your life without a little Homer or Bart running around at your feet, you’ll have to wait a couple of days to submit your paperwork. Adoption applications will be accepted for 24 hours only, starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 30th.

The application form will ask you a series of questions, which will be evaluated by the staff to ensure that it’s a good fit. If yours is chosen, you can visit the shelter by making an appointment. The adoption fee is $460 for dogs, but it comes with many of the shots and appointments you’ll need, plus 6 weeks of pet insurance.

If you love kittens just as much, there are so many up for adoption across Ontario as well. One look at their cute little faces is all the convincing you need!
