Lululemon is going on a HUGE hiring spree & giving staff serious raises

Lululemon is stepping up its game! The Vancouver-based athleticwear company has announced that it’s looking to hire 8,000 new employees across North America for both full and part-time positions at its stores, according to Yahoo Finance.

New hires and existing employees will also be getting a nice wage bump too, the outlet says. Lululemon is increasing minimum base pay from $15 to $17 for most employees at stores and at the Guest Education Centre all across the continent.

The retailer is known for its employee perks, as well as a team-based bonus program that boosts your hourly pay by $3 to $6 per hour if you can help achieve your store’s goals.

Some of the other benefits include health plans, discounts on fitness classes, paid time off, and even paid time off of up to 6 months for parental leave, available to employees at all levels.  The reason for this big push is to ramp up the workforce ahead of the holiday season, says Yahoo.

The company’s investment in its employees definitely does not go unnoticed. Lululemon has been ranked one of the best companies to work for in Canada this year, and that’s based on employee reviews alone!

If you’re considering a career switch, there are all kinds of jobs up for grabs at Lululemon right now, from Assistant Manager to Bra Designer.
