A North Shore restaurant recently unveiled some serious expansions to their patio, offering even more space and amazing views of the Burrard Inlet. The Beach House Restaurant, located in Dundarave Park, is in the final stages of a new, pop-up patio that will be open through the summer.
The spot already had the patio in mind this spring, but decided to really get after it once indoor dining was once again suspended in Vancouver. The new space will be able to seat 66 people, in addition to the capacity of the permanent patio. If you were unaware, the Beach House Restaurant underwent a major renovation back in 2019, thanks to some backing from Earls, which operates it.

Anyway, the new patio is slated to open this Saturday, and will remain open until it’s too cold to be out there. So, that means we’ve got months to check this new place out! That’s music to our ears, especially since current guidelines discourage visiting different neighbourhoods to eat. It’s a reasonable request, and we hate to admit it, but summer patio-hopping is not that important of a pastime.
But hey, that’s ok! We’ll let our West Van friends know about this new dining option, and they can give us a review when they visit it. For more info on the restaurant itself, just click the link below.
