The Yuletide Express is a stunning Christmas tradition with views of Snoqualmie Falls

‘Tis the season of holiday trains and from model trains to the Polar Express, Washington has it all. But the holiday train fun doesn’t stop there because you can also enjoy a ride on the Snoqualmie Yuletide Express. It’s a 25-minute holiday excursion full of holiday decorations, Christmas spirit, and more.

Your journey embarks from the historic Snoqualmie Depot. Upon boarding your train car you’ll find seasonally decorated, antique coaches to enjoy as you travel west to Snoqualmie Falls. To make the journey even more magical, the train will briefly pause at the crest for a view of the river valley before returning to Snoqualmie.

Due to the trip’s relatively short span, it’s great for younger folks who might not want to sit still for an hour-long experience. Not to mention each child will receive a small gift from Santa to make the experience even more memorable. And while it certainly has a family-friendly focus, this ride is great for folks of all ages looking to experience a unique holiday tradition.

Be sure to purchase your tickets online ahead of time and keep in mind that all folks 12 and older need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test taken within the last 72-hours. You’ll also need to wear a face mask for the entirety of your experience. But that’s the norm these days and if you’d like to learn more or grab tickets you can click below.
