The White Lotus fans don’t have long to wait before Season 3 drops this week! Set in Hawaii for Season 1 and Sicily for Season 2, the Emmy-winning HBO series has already spotlighted two Four Seasons hotels: Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea Beach and The San Domenico Palace, with Season 3 following suit at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in Thailand.

Complete with a variety of luxury villas with oceanside pools and views of the Gulf of Siam, it’s no wonder why production chose this idyllic location for its next dramatic, jaw-dropping instalment.

Season 3 debut

According to Deadline, the newest season was filmed in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok last February, and is set to hit our screens on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025. And if you’ve always wanted to experience the luxury of staying at The White Lotus (minus the tragedy), now is the best time to book a stay before demand sends prices soaring, according to Hotels.com.

“Two-thirds of travellers say movies, streaming services and TV shows have influenced their travel choices, with a 16% increase year-on-year,” says Hotels.com in a recent study. Conducted with market research firm OnePoll, the study looked at 25,000 respondents across 19 countries with plans to travel in the next three years.

“At Hotels.com we know that TV shows have a huge influence on travel and we are obsessed with helping travellers live out their dream trips,” says vice president of Hotels.com public relations Melanie Fish. “We want to help them not only get the most out of their trips, but find the best value time to stay.”

According to the study, the San Domenico Palace saw a 300% increase in searches after the highly-anticipated drop of Season 2, and it looks like the same “frenzy” is in store for Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui.

Lorenzo Maraviglia, general manager of the San Domenico Palace told Hotels.com that the resulting interest generated from the show “was pure madness,” and its operations have only just begun to return to “a level of normality.” However, the hotel will forever be on The White Lotus map, making it an even more sought-after destination.

The same can soon be said about the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui – which means travellers should act quickly if they want to book their stay!

About the resort

Designed by architect Bill Bensley, the resort was created to blend naturally into the surrounding hillsides, with 11 all-private pool villas and a Secret Garden Spa.

In addition to lounging at a truly spectacular global destination, the hotel offers its guests the chance to scuba dive, wakeboard, paddleboard, jet ski, or embark on a private yacht tour.

Right now, overnight stays start at $2,685 ($63,525 THB) per night, and that’s before service charges and tax. So if you’ve got a couple of grand lying around, this is your chance to treat yourself to The White Lotus experience before prices jump up after the season’s debut.

The countdown to Season 3 is on!
