The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra returns to the Orpheum this weekend

That’s right folks, an iconic Vancouver music experience has announced its return at one of the city’s most famous venues. Following the recent move into Step 2 of BC’s Restart Plan, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra has announced a series of concerts starting this weekend. What’s more, they’re raffling off chances for tickets! Here’s what to know.
Starting this Saturday, the VSO will put on 4 concerts for an audience of 50 people at a time. While front-line workers, media members (we didn’t get an invite, sad) and special guests will be there, the other spots are reserved for members of the public!

This is the first time in over a year that the VSO has held in-person concerts, and the first time the Orpheum will be open as well. So honestly, even if you’re not a fan of classical music, this is a pretty special thing to experience.
For your chance to get tickets for this undeniably rare experience, you’ll need to enter a draw on the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra website. Hurry though- entries will close at noon today!
