The Vancouver Aquarium is bringing holiday cheer & ‘Scuba Claus’ back to the city

Ready to make a… splash… this holiday season? Well then, look no further than the Vancouver Aquarium’s Holiday Splash programming! Things kick off this weekend, and we’ve got all the details you need to know for your visit. Let’s dive in, shall we?

The space is set to transform into an ‘aquatic winter wonderland’ complete with new and old attractions alike. Visitors will be able to enjoy seasonal treats, festive decorations, and even live music throughout the start of December. Meanwhile, those with a little extra time can watch The Polar Express in the immersive new 4D Theatre.

But really, the thing we’re most looking forward to is the return of Scuba Claus. Throughout Holiday Splash, this jolly old diver will be making twice-daily dives, resulting in one of the weirdest (and best) aesthetic mashups we can think of. Of course, kids love it too!

And finally, guests will be able to commemorate their visit with the holiday-themed ‘Jelly Snow Globe’ photo op. Looks like your holiday card woes have been solved before they’ve even started!
