The University of Toronto has done it again. The prestigious school has another accomplishment to brag about as they top the charts of the annual subject ranking by Quacquarelli Symonds. Every year, the London-based analytics and insights firm releases data sorting schools across the globe using 5 broad subjects.

The subjects in question are as follows: Arts & Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Management. In all five of these broad fields, the University of Toronto was number one in Canada. Notably, they were not number one globally. But hey – we’ll take what we can get.

As far as more specific subject rankings go, U of T dominated there too. The school placed first in Canada in 30 out of 48 specific subjects. On a global scale, they ranked in the top 50 in 46 subjects. Which was more than any other university in the world.

Plus, they ranked in the top 10 internationally in education, library and information management, sports-related subjects, anatomy and physiology, pharmacy and pharmacology, geography and area studies, and anthropology. Not too shabby, U of T. Not too shabby.

There you have it! If you’d like to check the full list of rankings, you can head to the official website right here.
