February is Black History Month and the Harbourfront Centre wants you to take part. All month long, they’ll be hosting the 26th edition of Kuumba. This festival is Toronto’s longest-running celebration of its kind. It’s stacked with educational, artistic, and entertaining events you won’t want to miss.
As you probably can guess, the pandemic has made this Harbourfront Centre Black History Month celebration just a little different this year. Instead of heading down to the waterfront to check out all the events in person, you can access a ton of them on the website. There are loads of live stream content, on-demand videos, and even a few socially distant displays in person.
