2021 is the time for new talent to shine. Which is why the Toronto Raptors and OVO just launched their Welcome Toronto Creators Program. This amazing initiative is all about identifying and growing emerging BIPOC artists. So if you’re between the ages of 16 and 29, a BIPOC creator or artist, and looking to grow your craft, keep on reading.
So the Welcome Toronto Creators Program officially launches today. Folks have the chance to submit themselves from now until Monday, March 29th. Then three lucky artists will be chosen to be mentored and connected with the team’s creative resources. The selections will be notified of their application status by Monday, April 12th.

Of the chosen artists, each one will have their work displayed during an upcoming game. Their art and their story will be spotlighted under the banner of the team’s new 2021 City Edition uniforms. They’ll also be showcased on the Toronto Raptors social channels AND receive a payment of $7,500. Not too shabby!
