Catch a flick under the starry night sky this summer! The Park at CIBC Square is showing free movies every week throughout the season.

Starting on Thursday, July 13th, movie lovers can gather at Toronto’s elevated park to enjoy a screening of the hilarious comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby starring Will Ferrell.

This iconic film is also co-written by Ferrell and it’s an absolutely wild ride.

If you’ve never been, The Park at CIBC SQUARE is an extraordinary spot in Toronto and it’s also the first of its kind.

This elevated green space stretches over Union Station’s corridor, transforming the industrial landscape into an outdoor oasis.

Designed as a one-acre park, it serves as a connecting bridge between the financial core, south core, and waterfront areas.

For those planning to attend the movie night, it’s recommended to arrive 15 minutes early, as the screening will begin at 9:30 PM.

You can also get there through the main building via the escalator or elevator up to the 4th floor.

Movie-goers are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs or blankets to stay comfortable during the show. There will also be food and drinks available.

You can also catch free movies in the park at Christie Pits, Corktown Common, and Bell Manor Park as part of the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show, which runs until late August.

Movies under the stars are playing at Downsview Park too, and there are several screenings throughout July.

You can RSVP online to get your free ticket to this Thursday’s screening of Talladega Nights.

So round up your pals and enjoy the show — there are so many to see this summer!
