A ‘The Last Of Us’ star shared a ton of BTS photos taken in Alberta & the set looked like a blast

As we near the end of season one we can’t help but get a little sentimental about the journey we’ve taken on HBO’s ‘The Last Of Us.’

Luckily, Bella Ramsey, who plays 14-year-old Ellie, has shared a ton of exclusive photos keeping us in good spirits despite it all coming to an end.

Starring Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and of course, Game Of Thrones alum, Ramsey – the show, follows Joel, a smuggler who is tasked with escorting a young girl across post-apocalyptic America and it has seriously tugged on our heartstrings.

Filmed entirely in Alberta, this series has made audiences around the world laugh, squeal and cry (a lot), maintaining a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The best part of the show (in our opinion)? Well, while the writing, sets and cinematography are fantastic – it really boils down to how real the characters feel – which is why we love to see images from behind the scenes.

In a post simply captioned “Ep5/6 film,” Ramsey posted some stunning images taken in Canmore, outside of Calgary’s Mount Royal University and the Bow River which runs through the heart of the city.

This, of course, is in addition to pictures they’ve taken while filming episodes 1 to 4 which can also be seen below.

Honestly, it’s just nice to know that no matter what happens to the characters on the show, they’re happy and doing well off the pages of the script, because, wowza – this show can get dark.

Luckily, we’ve still got two more episodes to get some closure.

Whether you’re already on board or just want to see what all the fuss is about, be sure to tune into new episodes of The Last Of Us on Crave or HBO via your local TV Provider every Sunday at 9:00 pm ET or 7 pm MST – but come with some tissues.

As we mentioned, this show has some serious heart.
