Are you looking for something truly unique to do this month? Consider rolling up to The Great American Train Show, it’s one of the best – and maybe only – ways to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of miniature railroading. Yes, it still exists.

If you grew up in Seattle you likely have fond memories of the miniature train at Seattle Center’s Winterfest. Even a decade ago, this hobby seemed like an old pastime and the fact that it’s still around today makes this show even more special. So what can you expect?

The show takes place on January 22nd and 23rd and is the nation’s only coast-to-coast model train show. You’ll be able to find hundreds of tables of trains and accessories for sale alongside huge operating exhibits and activities for the whole family. It’s the perfect outing for modelers, hobbyists, families, and of course, the curious.

Who knows, you might just walk away with a new hobby that you thought you’d never have. At the very least, you’ll get to have an experience that few can say they’ve had.
