A new Asian-inspired gastropub just opened in Vancouver & here’s what to expect

Attention, foodies! An exciting new culinary “playground” and Asian-inspired gastropub is opening in Vancouver this November. Its specialty? A mix of “fast-casual dishes” inspired by the West Coast. And what better way to create intrigue than with a name like The Darkside?

Chef Kevin Lin and Stephanie Wan of Land & Sea Restaurant & Bar have set out on a venture to create a fun, relaxed space for creative comfort dishes. Be it chicken wings and tacos, or “slutty cheese and instant noodles.”

In a new post, the pair announced their official “soft-soft opening,” which means the new Chinatown spot is technically open for business!

“We are quietly opening the doors to our new Asian Gastropub concept at 219 Union St in Chinatown TODAY and every day until we soft open on November 25th.”

While deets are still scarce at the moment, The Darkside has invited all to become a part of their opening process. Why not swing by to say hi and check out their “soft-soft opening” eats?

The Darkside is currently open every day leading up to Friday, November 25th from 5 to 9 pm.

We’ll see you there, Vancouver!

The Darkside

When: Now open, soft opening on Friday, November 25th
