It’s nearly time for Swifties from all corners of the world to gather for the release of Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. And in Canada, Cineplex is hosting the party.
From Friday, Oct. 3 to Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, you can visit their nearest Cineplex theatre for the world premiere of “The Fate of Ophelia” music video, behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot, brand-new lyric videos, and Taylor’s own reflections on her latest work. The nearly 90-minute show is not to be missed if you love finding the Easter eggs she leaves for fans!
Whether you’re planning on celebrating the release with friends or flying solo, you can head to one of the many Cineplex locations in the Vancouver area to mark the occasion.
Here are all the participating Cineplex theatres to choose from in and around Vancouver:
With showtimes anywhere between noon and 10:30 p.m., there are plenty of slots to choose from depending on the location you visit.
Tickets to The Life of a Showgirl are priced between $17.50 and $22.50 per person, which includes the Cineplex online booking fee but excludes tax. The final price will depend on the date, time, and theatre you choose (a 19+ theatre vs an all-ages one).
Tickets went on sale on Tuesday, Sept. 23, and while there are plenty currently up for grabs, it’s best to act quickly if you have your heart set on a certain time or day. The busiest Cineplex locations are expected to fill up fast, so don’t miss out!
