Trying to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ in Vancouver? Here are dates to look forward to

Look what we made her do! Taylor Swift is officially bringing ‘The Eras Tour’ to Vancouver, but what future dates should you make note of if you’re trying to get tickets?

First things first, we’ve got to talk verification codes!

This winter festival at Canada’s Wonderland will have two 50-foot Christmas trees

Verification Codes

While general registration for Verified Fan’ has already closed, Swifties still have until November 8th, at 11:59 pm (PST) to sign up for an Avion account.

If this is the first you’re hearing of it, Avion Rewards members will have exclusive access to an additional allocation of tickets, so sign up while you still can!

Membership is open to all Canadians regardless of where they bank and won’t cost anything but a few minutes of your time – but you’ll need to be speedy!

November 8th will also be the date that regular verification codes go out via email, so watch closely and keep your fingers crossed.

Ticket Sales

Those who receive a code will be given access to ticket sales on November 9th, but your queue time will depend on your chosen concert date.

The waiting room for all smart queues will open 30 minutes before the actual sale begins, so plan accordingly and buckle up!

As per their website, stay on this page and do not refresh to keep your place in line. They also do not advise opening more than one browser window at a time.

We’re sure that many of you’re aware of this, but you’ll need to be patient, then when your time does come, it’ll feel like there’s not enough time in the world.

If you make it to the map, shop for your tickets – but don’t hesitate! Seats are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and go quickly with a limit of 4 per customer.

Weren’t successful or get waitlisted? Don’t fret – yet!

Avion

Avion codes will be sent out on November 15th – so get ready, then (if successful) head to the site on November 16th, for another chance to snag your seats.

Those who are waitlisted again will have to stay tuned for a possible opportunity in the future to shop.

“When there are more fans than there are tickets, a limited number of fans will get access to join at the start of the Verified Fan sale and others will be placed on the waitlist,” Ticketmaster writes.

“More fans may get access to join the Verified Fan sale based on ticket availability. If you’re selected, you will receive a text with a link to join the Verified Fan sale. Please note, moving off the waitlist does not guarantee access to tickets. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.”

So just to recap:

  • Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 – Avion registration closes, regular ticket sale codes go out
  • Thursday, November 9th, 2023 – Ticketmaster ticket sales
  • Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 – Avion codes go out
  • Thursday, November 16th, 2023 – Avion ticket sales

Are you ready for it?

The next few weeks will be wild, but it’ll all be worth it when we’re trading friendship bracelets at BC Place in 2024.

Stay positive and have fun. You’ve got this!
