Taylor Swift is back in Toronto for her final three Eras Tour shows in the city. The singer took to the stage on November 21st for the fourth of six shows as Swifties flooded Rogers Centre yet again. One of the most exciting parts of the night is the surprise songs (songs performed for one night that are not part of the regular setlist).
Fans in attendance for night four were definitely surprised when Swift dropped a mash-up of songs seemingly about her ex Joe Jonas.
The friendship bracelets were exchanged and the Eras outfits were on display, all that was left as fans got situated for night four was finding out the surprise songs.
Swift shocked the audience with an acoustic mash-up of Mr. Perfectly Fine and Better than Revenge, two songs that have been famously linked to her ex from many years ago, Joe Jonas.
Better Than Revenge is a hit from the album Speak Now, while Mr. Perfectly Fine was released as part of Fearless (Taylor’s Version).
The singer has never been shy about discussing the tumultuous ending of her relationship with Jonas, talking about it in a viral interview with Ellen Degeneres in 2008.
That wasn’t the only mash-up of songs fans got treated to as Swift also performed State of Grace from the original version of Red and Labyrinth from Midnights on piano.
If you’re still holding out hope to see the Eras Tour in Toronto, you’ll be dishing out a jaw-dropping amount of money.
Resale sites still have some spots available but the cheapest ticket I could find between tonight’s show on November 22nd and the final Toronto show on November 23rd was for $4,166. For ONE ticket.
Browsing other resale sites, tickets are going for over $5,000.
If you can believe it, the Eras Tour will be coming to an end soon and it’s happening right here in Canada.
Taylor Swift will be closing out the tour in Vancouver, BC with three shows on December 6th, 7th and 8th at BC Place.
Will the final shows bring a slew of celebrities? The announcement of Reputation (Taylor’s Version)? We can’t wait to find out!
