Calgary-born Tate McRae will be on SNL this weekend

SNL is where legends are made and celebrated, and this weekend, one of Alberta’s own will take the stage as their musical guest.

Born in Calgary, Tate McRae hit it big with her single ‘You Broke Me First,’ and has since released her debut album “I Used to Think I Could Fly,” which peaked at #13 on Billboard’s US 200.

More recently, her song Greedy reached #3 on the Billboard Global 200 alongside Taylor Swift’s Cruel Summer and Doja Cat’s Paint The Town Red.

Heck, as if she couldn’t have a better week, the singer-songwriter also announced that she’ll be going on tour across North America, the UK, New Zealand and Australia with two stops in Canada.
