Taste of Calgary is returning for its 25th anniversary & here’s what to expect

Forks at the ready, folks, because Taste of Calgary is returning this summer for the first time since 2019!

This August, hungry Calgarians will get to explore global cuisines from all over the city. With a unique mix of restaurants and beverage companies, Taste of Calgary will be celebrating the finest food, drink, and entertainment in the city for the first time since the pandemic began.

The festival had previously been held at Eau Claire Market. This year, however, will be hosted in Calgary Parking Authority Lot #6, located right beside the Bow River on the downtown’s west end.

Along with a wide variety of food trucks, brewery vendors, and restaurants to try, attendees will be treated to interactive activities, artisans, entrepreneurs, and even some live local music.

Plus, the event will be licensed and gated, meaning adults can stroll around trying food with a grown-up beverage in hand.

The best part? Admission to the festival is free, and you can buy sample tickets for $1, with most food items costing between two and seven tickets apiece.

More information on ticket purchases will be coming soon. In the meantime, don’t forget to check out the pizza and beer & meat festivals coming to Calgary this summer.

Taste of Calgary 2022
