Though we’re nearing the last weekend of August, that doesn’t mean summer is over just yet! We still have a few fun events coming up this weekend, one of them being the annual Tamil Fest. Get ready for two days of delicious cuisine, cultural performances, artistic talents, and more.
On August 26th and 27th, Tamil Fest hosted by Canadian Tamil Congress, will bring its beloved event to Markham, right on Markham Rd.
According to organizers, “Tamil Fest focuses on promoting diversity by sharing the rich Tamil Culture among fellow Torontonians and Canadians, through great exposure to cultural food, artistic talents, and traditional activities.”

This year they are back and bigger than ever with delicious cuisine, traditional to modern Tamil arts, and even the addition of a third stage for more entertainment and performances.
You’ll also be able to shop from local vendors and support your community.
