Alright folks, we obviously can’t be recommending that you break any of the current public health restrictions. However, staycations are still a-ok, and especially when they’re just a hop, skip, and a jump away. You can see Vancouver from a completely different angle thanks to this North Shore floating home Airbnb. Here’s what it offers.

Called the ‘Sailor’s View’, this floating home is located right beside the Lonsdale Quay, and offers great access to the area’s local amenities. Enjoy the local trails, hit the Polygon Gallery, grab takeout from one of the many restaurants and enjoy a meal (and a drink) on the beach. You’ve got tons of safe options, and they’re all within reach.

And then, return to this modern floating home for a little RnR. The main area in the home features a full kitchen, a living space, and a dining table to eat at. On the first floor, you can find 2 bedrooms, and the master bedroom has a luxurious steam shower to relax in.

Of course, the home features all the modern-day amenities we’ve come to expect.  In addition to the steam shower and the full kitchen, there’s another full bathroom, multiple TV screens, and access to high-speed fibre internet. So, you won’t have any issues getting some work done during your stay, if that’s what you’re looking for.

However, we think most guests will try and spend as much time as they can hanging out on the second-floor balcony. And while it’s best experienced during sunrise or sunset, it does still offer open views of the marina and glimpses of the city beyond. We have to admit, it would be a great spot to crack open a cold beverage on a warm spring day.
