Nothing captures the laid-back spirit of the West Coast better than rolling surf and beach-side eats – and that’s exactly how it started for Tacofino!
What began as a food truck in the back parking lot of a Tofino surf shop has now grown to encapsulate multiple restaurant locations across Vancouver. This popular taco bar is all about blending a well-travelled palette with down-to-earth roots. Each bite is designed to transport you to a beach-side escape where the sun is shining, and the vibes are always right. Its bold flavour meets back alley BBQ with local ingredients all wrapped up in a delicious tortilla.
The result is mouth-watering comfort food that shines best when paired with local beer and good company – and it’s about to reach a whole new level.
Coming off the high of last year, Tacofino is bringing back its much-loved Brewery Dinner Series from September 2023 to March 2024.
Prepare to experience an expertly curated menu devised by Tacofino chefs Daniel Carranco and Jamie Cholack in collaboration with acclaimed local breweries. You’ll enjoy a 5-course meal with delectable beer pairings for a gastronomic journey that will make you feel like you just got back from vacation.
Each month will feature a different brewery. Check out the complete event lineup below:
- Rewind Beer Co. – Thursday, September 28th
- Phillips Brewing – Thursday, October 26th
- Main St. Brewing – Thursday, November 30th
- Shaketown Brewing Co. – Thursday, January 25th
- Ravens Brewing – Thursday, February 29th
- Tofino Brewing – Thursday, March 28th
The Brewery Dinner Series will be hosted at the Tacofino Ocho location on 8 East 5th Ave and will kick off on Thursday, September 28th at 7 PM. This event will run on the last Thursday of every month until March, with the exception of December.
Good eats aren’t all that’s in store! Each event night will also have live entertainment selected by Tacofino and the evening’s feature brewery.
