A popular Toronto fitness and wellness club is opening a second location in one of the city’s highly anticipated developments.
Sweat and Tonic has announced it will open its second Toronto location this fall. And if you haven’t already guessed, it has claimed a spot in the massive new neighbourhood, currently under contruction – The Well.
It’ll take over 25,000 square feet of space, featuring a cafe, bar, spa, and workspace. And of course, what’s S&T without its beloved ride, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, and recovery programs?
“Over the past three years, we’ve learned about what’s important to our guests, and what health and wellness truly means to them. The demand we’ve seen at our first location has surpassed all expectations, and we’re incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we’ve received,” said David Ingram, Founder of Sweat and Tonic.

The Well will occupy 8 acres of Toronto’s downtown core, along the western side of Spadina Avenue from Wellington to Front.
When it’s complete, it will have over a million square feet of office space, six residential towers with over 1,700 suites total, a large event venue, a retail centre, and a food market.
Representatives of The Well have confirmed to Curiocity that both the food market and retail centre are set to open in the coming months.
And for those eager to sign up for the new Sweat and Tonic location, its Phase 1 pre-opening sale for memberships and credits at The Well begins July 28 at 9 AM EST.
