Here’s what Canadian fans predict will happen at the Super Bowl

Super Bowl season is a time when superstitions, luck, and tradition kick into high gear. From surprise moments to halftime performances and game-changing plays waiting to unfold, even the most casual fans are locked in from kickoff to the final whistle.

Luckily, there’s no shortage of ways for Canadian fans to get in on the action — including a wide range of unique bets and wagers available on FanDuel Canada.

Do you have your guesses for how Super Bowl LX, featuring the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, will go down? Here are some standout Super Bowl predictions from FanDuel Canada that might just test your game-day intuition.

Gatorade guesses

Every Super Bowl ends the same way for the winning team’s coach: soaked in a sports drink. It’s the iconic Gatorade dump tradition — when a cooler filled with Gatorade is dumped on the coach as a superstitious celebration. The tradition dates back to the 1980s and has since become one of the most beloved (and bet-worthy) rituals of the game.

Each year, fans debate and predict what colour the Gatorade will be. In 2025, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni got a chilly yellow shower of lemon-lime Gatorade, thanks to star players A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Feeling thirsty? For Super Bowl LX, FanDuel says 23 per cent of total bets are on yellow/lime or green, with the odds at +260Odds are based on historical trends, team colours, and just pure fun speculation.

The Bad Bunny theory

Grammy award-winning artist Bad Bunny will take the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show, and that headlining performance comes with a slew of predictions.

One of the most contested is which song the artist will kick the show off with. Will it be a hit from the 2025 album (and Latin Grammy Album of the Year winner) Debi Tirar Mas Fotos? Maybe Benito will take it back to 2022 with a single from the super successful Un Verano Sin Ti, the fourth studio album from the 31-year-old rapper.

Right now, FanDuel stats show that “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” is the most bet on for first song performed, with the odds at +380.

Coin toss conclusion

To start off each Super Bowl game, a coin toss takes place right on the field to determine which team will take possession of the ball. The visiting team calls either heads or tails, and the winners pick whether to receive or kick the ball to start the game.

It’s probably one of the shortest sporting events in history — less than five seconds — and you can bet on which side the custom-designed coin will land. Fanduel says heads is taking the lead with 55 per cent on the coin toss to land on heads

Fun fact: FanDuel says that, historically, tails has occurred slightly more often than heads.
