There’s a Nordic spa near Edmonton with experiences inspired by Scandinavian traditions

South of Edmonton, there’s a Scandinavian-inspired Nordic spa calling your name.

Søle Nordic Wellness offers a variety of experiences in Leduc, just outside of Edmonton. These experiences take inspiration from Nordic culture, which prioritizes nature and simplicity. At this spa and wellness centre, wellness rituals and Scandinavian traditions are at the forefront, making sure you get the best experience possible.

If you’re ready to make the trek down to Leduc, this warm and welcoming destination will be waiting.

What to expect

First off, Søle has its Nordic Circuit: Hot, Cold, Rest, Repeat.

While you move through cycles of heat and cold, your nervous system will be calmed, and your circulation will be renewed. As you go through each round, you’ll fall deeper and deeper into a sense of rest and relaxation.

This Nordic Circuit lasts two hours, with an express circuit lasting 40 minutes, being a condensed version of the full ritual for a quick reset. The experience includes access to the Finnish hot stone sauna, cold plunge, and Himalayan Salt Haven rest room, as well as complementary Nordic herbal tea and coffee service.

While the full circuit is only $77, the express is $55.

There’s also monthly rituals you can take part in, like January’s New Year’s Light.

“In many Nordic countries, the quiet weeks between Christmas and mid-January are considered sacred — marked by candlelight, reflection, and gentle emergence from the darkest days of winter,” reads its website. “Nyttårslys is designed as a soft return to the world. A ritual of calm activation, clarity, and gradual reawakening.”

For $179, this ritual includes a two-hour private Nordic Circuit and a one-hour HydraFacial or Stryka facial. This deal is only available this month, so don’t miss your chance.

If you want to extend your ritual to your home, it has products for that too. Some January seasonal favourites include Hygge Frostbloom Blend Tea and Hygge Beeswax Candle, perfect for winding down.

It’s open Monday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., meaning there is always time for a spa day. If you’re ready for a spa day, this is definitely the place to go. Don’t miss out on this Nordic spa in Leduc.
