The options just keep coming! Starting this week, Sunset Cinema will be bringing free family movies to North Van, and will run throughout the summer. We’ve got everything you need to know, from the exact locations to the lineup! Let’s dive in.
Every Wednesday from tonight (July 6th) to the end of August, The Shipyards will play host to everything from (relatively) recent releases to the classics. The timeframe will be from 8 pm to 11 pm each night, to accommodate for the later sunsets.

- July 6 – Surf’s Up
- July 13 – Matilda
- July 20 – Kicking & Screaming
- July 27 – Nanny McPhee
- August 3 – Wall-E
- August 10 – Mamma Mia!
- August 17 – Night at the Museum
- August 24 – Back to the Future
Sunset Cinema is the third outdoor movie series we’re recommending for the summer. Those hoping to stay downtown should definitely check out the Summer Movie Nights lineup. Meanwhile, if you’re hoping for some more adult-oriented options, then Deckchair Cinema is the place to be.
