7 delicious night markets to check out in Metro Vancouver this summer

Night markets are a quintessential part of every summer, and Metro Vancouver has a ton of options to choose from every year. So whether your favourite part is the food, the patio sips, or the live music, we’re here to share them all with you. Here are 7 summer night markets to check out in Metro Vancouver this year.

Night Market at the Met

The first-ever Night Market at the Met is set to launch this July, bringing together an array of delicious vendors, family-friendly activities, and live music.

When: From July 4th to 7th
Where: 4700 Kingsway Street, Burnaby
Cost: Free admission

Vegan Night Market

With plenty of summer and fall markets under its belt (including the city’s first beachside night market), the Vegan Night Market by Peaces.ca is back with bi-weekly summer markets until August 29th, with the next event coming up on July 4th at Locarno Beach.

When: Thursday, July 4th And bi-weekly until August 29th
Where: Locarno Beach
Cost: $2 minimum donation

Junction Public Market 

While not technically a ‘night market,’ Vancouver’s new pop-up market experience will feature a mix of rotating food trucks, artisan vendors, and live entertainment. Oh, and refreshing sips from the market’s ‘Sipping Container!’

When: June 28th to September 29th
Where: 200 Granville Street
Cost: Free admission

Southlands Night Markets 

The Southlands Grange’s first night market of the season will take place on Saturday, June 29th from 4 to 9 pm, treating visitors to an array of food trucks, local brews by Four Winds Brewing, and live entertainment. Created in partnership with The Collective Markets and Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival, the night market will take place at Market Square in Delta.

When: June 29th and future dates TBA
Where: 6333 Market Avenue, Delta
Cost: Free admission

Richmond Night Market

Home to literally hundreds of vendors, the Richmond Night Market has become a must for food and drink lovers, and it looks like we’re getting some great weather this week!

When: Friday, June 14th and every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until October
Where: 8351 River Road, Richmond
Cost: $8.50 per person

Fort Langley Night Markets 

From Island Jerky to Kona Ice from Chilliwack, to kettle corn, to vintage finds from Urban Vintage, there are tons of exciting things you’ll find at the Fort Langley Night Markets, which are officially back for 2024 starting Friday, June 28th. Admission is free, and shoppers can expect to enjoy live entertainment as they peruse the market.

When: Every Friday from June 28th to September 27th
Where: 9025 Glover Road, Langley Township
Cost: Free admission

Shipyards Night Market

The beloved Shipyards Night Market is on every Friday until September 13th, so get ready to enjoy the iconic beer garden and outdoor market, and peruse many mouthwatering food trucks.

When: Every Friday from May 10th to September 13th
Where: The Shipyards, North Vancouver
Cost: Free admission
