Summer is just around the corner and with it, Canada Day long weekend!

Want to start making plans, but don’t know what’s happening in and around the city? You’re in luck!

If July 1st rolls around and you choose to stay out of the sun, you can check out Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, where admission will be FREE thanks to ATB Financial.

“We are thrilled to open our doors to the public for free on Canada Day, thanks to ATB Financial’s incredible support,” said Andrew Mosker, President and CEO of the National Music Centre.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Canadian and international visitors to experience the joy and inspiration that music brings, and to celebrate our 8th-year anniversary in a meaningful way.”

Described as a “building-wide bash, ” NMC will feature new and exciting exhibitions, live performances, and hands-on activities between 10 am and 5 pm.

If however, that’s not enough, there will also be family-friendly live performances on the main floor and rooftop of Calgary’s historic King Eddy.

Sounds fun? You won’t want to miss it, music lovers!

Enjoy and maybe we’ll see you out there! There really is no better time to check it out!
