The Street Car Cask Party series is sticking around this fall

Can we “cask” you a question? What happens when you combine the High Level Bridge, a very fun mode of transportation, and some unique beers? You get the Street Car Cask Party, of course! And while it’s been around all summer, we’re letting you know it’s staying into the fall!

Organized by The Common, the Street Car Cask Party is an adults-only night out on the High Level Bridge with all the fixings. During the experience, you’ll be treated to some delicious food, multiple beers from a local name, and of course, stunning views of the River Valley.

Running twice nightly most Thursdays, the parties will last one hour each. You’ll hop on to the rail car just a few blocks away from The Common, and get 2 pours of a rare, cask-aged beer during the experience. The beers offered change up often, and past names include SYC, Bent Stick Brewing, and Alley Kat among others. What’s more, some Calgary breweries might just join in on the fun.

After the Cask Party, you’ll also be able to head back to The Common for a little apres fun. There, you’ll be treated to another free beer, plus live music from local performers. A regular Thursday night out, this is not. But hey, that’s why we’re so excited for it!
