Per Destination Ontario, Bracebridge is considered the waterfall capital of Muskoka, as there are four waterfalls in the area.

Here you’ll find Bracebridge Falls, High Falls, Muskoka Falls and Wilson’s Falls.

But when you’re in town, you’ll get to hear the roar of Bracebridge Falls as you stroll through the streets and alleyways of downtown.

“This local gem has been a beloved scenic hike for over 100 years, and is known as one of the best places to catch a sunset in Muskoka, Ontario,” shares the Muskoka Tourism page.

Embark on a 2.5km loop trail to reach the viewpoint! “While the rocks on this trail are some of the oldest in the world, dating back over a billion years, it’s the breathtaking views that steal the show,” shares the site.

But as for its town, it boasts an impressive array of boutiques and restaurants, as well as a thriving music, arts, and theatre scene.

The main attraction in town is the Bracebridge Clock Tower Centre, which is described on the town’s website as a “treasure trove of artist studios, galleries and boutiques creating an incredible shopping experience in a beautiful historic building.”

When you work up an appetite, you can sink your teeth into the town’s culinary offerings, which includes incredible restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars, and breweries.

According to the Town of Bracebridge, a trip to their neck of the woods will “lighten your spirit and tempt your tastebuds.”
